Jyväskylä rural commun is lacated in The Central Finland and it's the second biggest commun by it's measure of habitants in Finland (doesn't include communs which call themselves as cities). It was counted that in 31.12.1998 here was 31.425 habitants in our commun. The measure of habitants is rising all the time.The biggest part of people live in densely populate communities. There are three of those in our commu: Vaajakoski- Jyskä area (12 000 habitants), Palokka (9 000) and Tikkakoski (5 000). There is an airport in our commun near Tikkakoski and also a little army unit.
